Rabb - Sustainer, Provider, Supporter, Nourishes and Guardian, and Sovereign and Ruler. He who controls and directs. God is Rabb in all the meanings of the term.

Rabbuka - Lord and Master.

Rabi-ul-Awwal - The third month of the Islamic calendar.

Rahilah - She camel for riding.

Rahim - Mercy. This attribute of God has been used side by side with Rahman.

Rahman - Merciful is one of the personal names of God. According to scholars of the Arabic language and some commentators of the Quran, the word has the of intensity regarding Divine Mercy. Thus the word does not just signify the One Who has mercy; it rather denotes the One Who is exceedingly merciful; the One Who is overflowing with mercy for all.

Rahn - A Mortgage on the Prophet (pbuh).

Rayyan - The name of one of the gates of paradise, which one who often observes fasting will enter.

Rajab - The seventh month of the Islamic calendar.

Ar-Rajah - Remarrying a wife after your divorce.

Rajm - Stoning In Islamic punishment of those who are married and commit illegal sexual acts.

Rakah - (pl. raka'at) Represents a unit of the prayer and consists of bending the torso from an upright position followed by two prostrations.

Ramadan - The ninth month of the Islamic calendar, in which it is obligatory for all Muslims to fast.

Ramal - Fast walking accompanied by the arms and legs.

Ramy - Throwing of pebbles at the Jimar at Mina.

Rasool - Messenger and Prophet (pbuh) of Allah.

Riba - Taking interest on loaned money. Taking something of superior quality in exchange for giving less of the same kind of thing of poorer quality.

Rida - A piece of cloth warm on the upper body.

Rikaz - Buried Wealth.

Ruqba - A house that is gifted to a person to live in during there life but not to own.

Ar-Ruqyah - A divine speech recited as a means of curing diseases
